SlowavePrivacy Policy

This policy describes how the Slowave app (the “App”), published by Colomé Maël (“we”), processes data when you use the App on your iPhone.
In short: we collect nothing. The App runs entirely on your device, with no account, no server, no third-party trackers, and no advertising.
1. Data processed by the App
1.1 User-entered data
When you fill out an evening or morning check-in, the App stores locally:
- your target and actual bedtime, and your wake-up time;
- your answers about caffeine, exercise, screens, stress, room temperature, last meal time, white noise or melatonin use, daylight exposure;
- the sleep score computed from these answers.
This data is stored only on your iPhone, via Apple's SwiftData framework. It is never transmitted to a server, to us, or to any third party.
1.2 Health data (HealthKit)
If you explicitly authorize it, the App reads your heart rate (BPM) from Apple HealthKit, in order to display your live HRBS (Heart-Rate Behavioral Score) value.
- Reads are live only: no value is saved in the App or associated with a check-in.
- HealthKit data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.
- You can revoke this access at any time in Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › Slowave.
In accordance with Apple's requirements, health data is never used for advertising, marketing, resale, or behavioral analytics.
1.3 Local preferences
The App stores some preferences (chosen notification time, favorite ambient sound, onboarding state, etc.) via UserDefaults. This data stays on your device.
2. Data we do not collect
The App does not collect, process, or transmit:
- any account information (no account creation);
- any location data;
- any advertising identifier (IDFA);
- any usage statistics, telemetry, or third-party crash reports;
- any contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or calendar data;
- any cookies or tracking identifiers.
The App contains no third-party tracking or analytics SDKs (no Google Analytics, Firebase, Facebook SDK, Mixpanel, etc.).
3. In-App Purchases (App Store)
The App offers a monthly Pro subscription and a one-time lifetime purchase via Apple StoreKit. Transactions are handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive your card number, your Apple ID, or any personal payment information.

4. Notifications
The App may send you local reminders (e.g., your wind-down time). These notifications are scheduled locally on your device via UserNotifications. No remote push service is used: nothing transits through a server.
5. Exporting and deleting your data
You stay in full control:
- Export: you can export your check-ins as CSV from the App's Settings.
- Deletion: you can delete all your data from Settings, or simply delete the App. All local data is then permanently erased.
6. Children
The App is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data about them.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the App or legal obligations. The last update date is shown at the top of this page. We will notify you in the App in the event of a significant change.

This policy is governed by French law. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability — noting that, since the App transmits no data to us, these rights are exercised directly from your device (CSV export, App deletion).
